More clear skies and warm temps will greet metro Atlantans as they head out for their Monday commute, says Channel 2 Action News meteorologist David Chandley. Don't expect to see rain until Tuesday.

Do expect plenty of sunshine and high temperatures holding in the 90s, he said. "Certainly above the average of 89," for this time of year, Chandley said. The lows will be in the mid- to low 70s throughout much of the week.

Perfect summer weather, some would say.

Chandley put the rain chance Monday at 10 percent — with perhaps an isolated shower — in the forecast for Monday. On Tuesday, expect a high of 94 and a mix of sun and clouds with afternoon thunderstorms developing, Chandley said. Metro Atlanta should have more of the same on Wednesday.
