Khalid Bays and Geovanni Perez, both 18-year-olds from Atlanta, were arrested and charged in Gardner’s death on Sept. 25. Both are charged with felony murder and aggravated assault. Bays is also charged in the murder of Beverly Jenkins, an Atlanta charity worker, and a September carjacking in Atlanta.

Police said they were still searching for a female suspect at the time of Bays’ and Perez’s arrests, and that she was the only suspect still at large. With Castro’s arrest, all three suspects have been apprehended, according to police.

Castro is being held without bond in the Gwinnett County Detention Center.
