Atlanta Police connects to public through social media

The Atlanta Police Department is offering new ways to connect with the department through social media. APD recently joined Periscope and live streams added to the department’s YouTube Channel.

“We want to make sure that our citizens have multiple opportunities to engage with us,” said Police Chief George Turner. “Social media is an ideal platform to increase our community outreach and share how Atlanta officers are fighting crime.”
