A southwest Atlanta man has been indicted in the deaths of two Alabama men, court records show.

A Cobb County grand jury formally charged Broderick Taylor with several murder counts last week.

Police said 26-year-old Taylor had been arguing with Roderick Foster and Deandre Brooks before shooting them at the Winwood Apartments in Austell the night after Valentine's Day.

Cobb police have not said what the argument was about nor did the agency respond to that question Tuesday.

Both Foster, 28, and Brooks, 26, were from Montgomery, Alabama.

Taylor, who lives off Camp Creek Parkway and Reynolds Road Southwest, was also indicted on charges of possessing a firearms as a felon. He became a felon in 2008 when he was convicted of theft.

His next court date was not listed online.
