Atlanta to host fibroids seminar Tuesday at City Hall

Atlanta will hold a free "Freedom from Fibroids" seminar Tuesday, Jan. 24 at noon in the City Council Chamber inside City Hall, 55 Trinity Avenue. The free seminar, hosted by Dr. John C. Lipman, will focus on uterine fibroids and what women can do to prevent and care for the tumors. City Councilwoman Felicia Moore will be presenting the seminar in an effort to create awareness of a less invasive method of treatment.
