Atlanta gets $100,000 grant from Bank of America for summer youth work

May 23, 2012Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed accepted a $100,000 Summer Youth Program Grant Award from Bank of America on Wednesday, May 23. The money is slated to be used to give Atlanta high school students an opportunity to get work experience. The city says it plans to continue its practice of teaming up with local businesses and civic organizations to provide youth with early exposure to work opportunities and leadership skills.
