Atlanta City Councilwoman Joyce Sheperd has scheduled a town hall meeting Tuesday evening to bring city officials closer to her southeast district.

Interim Police Chief George Turner, Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard and representatives from the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department, Public Works, Sanitation, Watershed Management and the Bureau of Code Compliance are scheduled to attend.

Special presentations will feature discussion topics on animal control, economic development, the redevelopment of Fort McPherson, the Atlanta Beltline, Lakewood Fairgrounds, the Metropolitan Parkway Tax Allocation District and summer camp information for district youth.

The meeting is scheduled from 7 -- 9 p.m. at Victory Outreach Ministries Atlanta, located at 2175 Metropolitan Pkwy. S.W.
