The Atlanta City Council will begin deliberations on the proposed 2013 city budget on Thursday, May 3 from 9 a.m. until noon. The meeting to discuss the city's fiscal condition is scheduled to be held in the Council Chamber, Atlanta City Hall, 55 Trinity Avenue.
The proposed budget, with spending totaling $539.8 million, does not include a property tax increase for the coming fiscal year. The budget is scheduled to be adopted by the City Council on June 14.
