Police on Wednesday made an arrest in the killing of a man whose body was found Monday morning.

Santron Prickett, 25, was charged with murder for the shooting death of Antwan Curry, Atlanta police spokesman Officer Otis Redmond said.

He said Curry's body was found outside an apartment in the 900 block of New Town Circle and added Curry was the father of at least two children.

Atlanta police fugitive unit members and U.S. Marshals obtained a warrant for Prickett's arrest and took him into custody at an undisclosed location.

Redmond had no new information Thursday about the motive for the shooting nor the reason it occurred at that location.
