Archbishop to ordain auxiliary bishop

Atlanta Archbishop Wilton D. Gregory will ordain the Most Rev. David Prescott Talley as auxiliary bishop Tuesday at the Cathedral of Christ the King, 2699 Peachtree Road N.E.

He was ordained a Roman Catholic priest for the Archdiocese of Atlanta in 1989. His first assignment was as parochial vicar and administrator at St. Jude the Apostle Parish.

He also served as pastor of St. Thomas Aquinas Parish in Alpharetta, Parochial Vicar at St. Anne Parish in Columbus, Pastor of St. John Neumann Parish in Lilburn and Pastor of St. Brigid Parish in Johns Creek.
