Application for 77-acre multi-use project in Braselton postponed

The application for annexation and rezoning of two properties totaling about 77 acres at the intersection of Ga 53 and Braselton Parkway has been deferred from Aug. 26 to the Sept. 23 Braselton Planning Commission meeting at the Braselton Police and Municipal Court Building, 5040 State Route 53.

The property owners, Nancy Carol Brock and Braselton Township Development LLC, are requesting a re-zoning of two parcels into a split zoning of 9.53 acres for general commercial, 32.5 acres for multi-family housing, and 35.28 acres for manufacturing and distribution. The applicant, Stolz Partners, LLC, intends to develop the property for 240 multi-family units, six commercial parcels, and 499,200 square feet of warehouse/distribution space.
