One person has been shot by an Atlanta police officer near Lenox Square Mall in Buckhead.

All northbound lanes of Peachtree Road were blocked during the investigation and drivers were advised to avoid the area.

No officers were injured, according to Sgt. Greg Lyon with Atlanta police. The name and condition of the person shot were not immediately known, Lyon said.
