Anti-bullying workshop coming to East Cobb school

East Cobb Middle School will host a "Challenge Day" anti-bullying program Tuesday through Friday.

Students and adults will be guided through exercises that stress trust-building and conflict-resolution. The program was started in 1987 by a California couple -- a teacher and his wife -- and grew into a non-profit group that has led such events across the country.

The East Cobb Middle School Foundation raised money to cover the event costs, said event chair Gretchen Buchanan. Information: www.challengeday.org and gretchenbuchanan@mindspring.com.
