Alpharetta is inviting residents to a “Community Conversation” to talk about plans to improve the Webb Bridge/Academy Corridor.

The meeting is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 10-11, at City Hall, 2 Park Plaza, to review draft designs by the city’s engineers, discuss challenges and comment on possible solutions, officials said.

The first meeting will focus on Webb Bridge Road between North Point Parkway and Ga. 120, and the second, on Academy Street between Westside Parkway and Ga. 9.

The Alpharetta City Council in December accepted a proposal by engineering consultant Pond & Co. to spend $283,033 to prepare a detailed conceptual plan for the corridor covering bicycle, pedestrian and operational improvements.
