Ga. 400 ramps to open at Hammond Drive

Sept 1, 2011On Friday new ramps will open at Ga. 400 and Hammond Drive in Sandy Springs, according to the Perimeter Community Improvement Districts. The ramps provide a northbound entrance to and a southbound exit from the highway.
They are intended to help drivers access the Perimeter business district and destinations like Perimeter Mall.
The PCID's, self-taxing business districts, helped fund the $5 million ramps. The ramps are part of a larger project that is also building a Hammond Drive bridge over Ga. 400.
