Timely reminder, Gwinnettians: Your county is still working on the blueprint for its transportation future, and you can still weigh in.

As state transportation officials scramble to rebuild the collapsed Atlanta stretch of I-85, online surveys for Gwinnett County's comprehensive transportation plan remain open. Frustrated commuters — and all other Gwinnett residents — can share their thoughts through April 10.

The survey can be found here.

Gwinnett’s comprehensive transportation plan will steer the county’s transportation funding through the year 2040. Work on the plan began last year and two rounds of public meetings have already been held.

The transportation plan has examined everything from potential trail and roadway projects to future transit options. The county is also launching a separate study aimed specifically at transit.

Gwinnett Commission Chairman Charlotte Nash has said she wants the county's residents to have a referendum on expanded transit options as soon as 2018.
