Three possible names for merging colleges
Say hello to University of Augusta or Georgia Regents University or Georgia Arts & Sciences University.
One of those three could be the name for a merged Augusta State and Georgia Health Sciences universities.
A group working on consolidating the two colleges selected the three choices afters months of discussion and review. The group forwarded the names to the State Board of Regents, which will vote on it next month.
If you don't like any of the names there's a chance the regents could pick something else. The board is not bound by the recommendation.
