Suwanee Christmas tradition to change

By Arielle Kass
Sept 8, 2014

The city of Suwanee needs a new Christmas tradition.

Shadowbrook Baptist Church has hosted Christmas in the Park at Suwanee’s Town Center in the past, but will not be doing so this year. The celebration had become a default holiday celebration for the area, in addition to a caboose lighting in Old Town Suwanee.

Suwanee city council is slated to discuss options for future holiday events, considering the change, at its meeting Thursday.

The city council will meet at 5:30 Thursday at city hall, 330 Town Center Ave.
