Residents in a number of Fulton County cities will have the chance to vote on the so-called brunch bill Nov. 6.

If passed, the bills would let restaurants serve alcohol beginning at 11 a.m. on Sundays. Now, alcohol cannot be served before 12:30 p.m. on Sunday. The proposal would not affect when stores could begin to sell alcohol; that would still be 12:30 p.m.

Across the state, nearly 50 cities and counties have the measure on their ballots.

In Fulton County, residents in the following cities will have a vote: Alpharetta, Atlanta, College Park, Hapeville, Johns Creek, Milton, Roswell, Sandy Springs, South Fulton and Union City.
