There will be roller skating and dancing in the streets of downtown Lithonia this weekend.

The Lithonia Street Party is a community festival along the city’s main artery, which will be closed to traffic. The event will be held along Main Street from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 29.

The event  builds upon the farmers market that takes place every Saturday through October.

The Lithonia Street Party will include additional activities like arts and crafts, games, giveaways, a bounce house and an area highlighting local businesses and organizations.
