How bad will SunTrust Park traffic be?

Traffic is already horrific enough on the northside Perimeter.

Imagine what will happen when SunTrust Park opens next month, adding 41,000 fans and 13,000 cars to the fray.

Atlanta Braves and Cobb County officials say they’re prepared.

With rebuilt intersections, delayed game times, traffic apps and dispersed parking lots, officials say traffic may be bearable at the crossroads of I-285 and I-75.

Meanwhile, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution decided to take a rush-hour test drive to the new stadium.

Five reporters and editors fought through traffic from Acworth, Alpharetta, Jonesboro, Lawrenceville and Midtown Atlanta.
