Gwinnett County is simplifying the hours each of its five tag office locations are open to the public.

It’s also changing which location will be open on Saturdays.

Come July 1, every Gwinnett tag office — located in Lawrenceville, Norcross, Peachtree Corners, Buford and Snellville — will be open five days a week between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

All locations except for Lawrenceville will be open Monday through Friday. The Lawrenceville office, located at 750 South Perry St., will be open Tuesday through Saturday.

Saturday hours are currently offered at the Buford location, which is near the Mall of Georgia.

“With our Saturday crowds, we have simply outgrown our [Buford] location,” Gwinnett County Tax Commissioner Richard Steele said in a news release. “Saturday hours in Lawrenceville will offer Gwinnett County residents a centrally located branch with ample parking as well as drive-thru service. The new five-day schedule also allows for each tag office to be open an additional day each week.”
