Governor names Common Cause leader to ethics board
Gov. Nathan Deal has named Chan Caudell, vice chairman of Common Cause Georgia, to the state ethics commission.
Caudell fills the seat of Josh Belinfante, who resigned last week to consider a bid for state Senate.
Caudell is an attorney at Caudell & Hotard, LLC, in Cornelia. A former Habersham County commissioner, Caudell is vice chair of the board of North Georgia Technical College, the State Bar of Georgia Advisory Committee on Legislation and on the executive board of the Boy Scouts of America Northeast Georgia Council.
