DeKalb News: $1.2 million approved for Stone Mountain library upgrade

DeKalb County commissioners have approved a $1.2 million contract that will pay for renovations of the Sue Kellogg Library in Stone Mountain.

C.T. Darnell Construction received the highest score of three companies who bid on the project during the process process.

The Kellogg Library is located at 952 Leon Street. The county said it has not been updated since the mid-1980s.
