Today will likely be a tad cooler than Saturday, Atlanta — but should be just as gorgeous otherwise.

Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Brian Monahan said Sunday’s highs will be in the low 70s across metro Atlanta. That’s a bit lower than Saturday’s high 70s, but the weekend should still close with “blue skies as far as the eyes can see,” Monahan said.

The pollen count was a moderate 437.

The warming trend is expected to continue well into the work week.

Monday morning will start cool before a “nice warm up,” Monahan said.

Temperatures are expected to be in the 80s on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Monahan’s forecast called for “nearly wall-to-wall total sunshine” for the next several days.
