3:25 p.m. update: Police say that all lanes of Lamar Boulevard have been reopened near Sixth Street after a pedestrian was struck by a car. EMS officials said a man in his 50s was struck, and that he was being taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Earlier: The left northbound lane of Lamar Boulevard near W. Sixth Street has been closed after a driver in a Ford Ranger struck a man crossing the street about 2:30 p.m., said police spokeswoman Veneza Bremner.

The pedestrian was taken to Breckenridge Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening and the driver is still at the scene with police, Bremner said.
