Legendary Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain lives on in the hearts and minds of many adoring music fans to this day.

And for a brief while on Tuesday night, there was an opportunity for consumers to maintain Cobain's final words as a keepsake in closets.

That's when baseball-style tees (and plain tank tops) with the artist's suicide note printed on them went for sale online on Ebay. The shirts have since been taken down, but not before sixteen of them were sold. A designer from Thailand by the name of Nuchyk claims ownership of the product.

The shirt was originally available for purchase on Etsy until someone on Reddit flagged it down.

The rockstar died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound at his Seattle home on April 5, 1994.

Cobain's former wife, Courtney Love, has yet to comment on the T-shirt on her personal (verified) Twitter account.
