Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a Kennesaw man whose body was discovered Wednesday afternoon at a northwest Atlanta office park.

Officers were called to the 2000 block of General Truman Street about 2:15 p.m. after receiving a call about an unresponsive person, authorities said. They arrived to discover a man dead at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was identified Friday afternoon as 25-year-old Sheikh Omar Sonko. It’s unclear what led to the Cobb County man’s death, and investigators have not released descriptions of any suspects in the case.

The shooting investigation is ongoing, according to police.
