Fans turned out at Mercedes-Benz Stadium last week for a preview of Kanye West’s next album, but reports indicate the legendary rapper hasn’t left the building.

TMZ reported that its sources said West plans to reside at the Atlanta stadium until he finishes “Donda.”

About 40,000 fans turned out Thursday night for the listening party. “Donda” would be the 10th studio LP for the recipient of more than 20 Grammy Awards, and it’s named for his educator mother, who died in 2007 from plastic surgery complications at age 58.

According to TMZ: “Kanye and team have created a studio space, living quarters and even have a chef to prepare his meals inside MBS.”

A possible sign West is indeed still at the stadium: Fans took to social media Saturday to show photos of a man dressed in West’s listening party outfit during the Atlanta United game. At Thursday’s hot-ticket event, an apparently head-covered West was dressed in a scarlet red outfit and orange sneakers as he stood amid the white-covered field.

Photos shared on Twitter Saturday showed a man similarly clad and being escorted at the soccer game at the stadium.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is working to confirm details of West’s arrangements with the stadium. Please return to AJC.com for updates.
