A fatal crash investigation shut down lanes on westbound I-20 at Gresham Road Friday in DeKalb County. BRANDEN CAMP / SPECIAL

Authorities are investigating a deadly crash that temporarily shut down westbound lanes of I-20 at Gresham Road in DeKalb County early Friday.

The crash occurred before 4:30 a.m., according to the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center.

Westbound lanes reopened just after 7:30, the Traffic Center reported.

No other details were released.
