Two children killed in a New Year’s Day crash in southeast Hall County were identified Tuesday.

Coroner Marion Merck identified the children as Bella Tangredi, 4, and Ryker Gibbs, 1, according to the Gainesville Times.

The accident occurred about 1:50 p.m. Sunday when a driver veered off the south shoulder of Ga. 60, over-corrected and hit a tree, Georgia State Patrol spokesman Anthony Coleman said.

Sabrina McConnell, 25, of Hall County, was trying to negotiate a curve when she crashed.

McConnell and two adult passengers, John Wayne Gibbs, 25, and Ashley Rose, 21, both of Walton County, were also injured, Coleman said.

They were taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

The newspaper reported that Gibbs and McConnell were Ryker Gibbs’ parents, and that Tangredi was Rose’s niece.

“Charges at this time have not been made as the investigation is not fully completed,” Coleman said.
