Charlie Murphy, writer, comedian and actor famous for his hilarious skits on "Chapelle's Show", died Wednesday at 57 after a battle with leukemia.

While the star was known for bringing the funny, he took on a more serious tone on Twitter.

With his morning and evening tweets titled “Rise & Grind” and “One to Sleep On”, he sent out a dose of inspiration daily.

From tips on living life to the fullest to words of wisdom from his pal Prince, Murphy often showed off his more personable side on social media.
