An Indiana man is suing his parents, claiming they destroyed his pornography collection, WXMI reported.
The man, identified only as “Charlie,” filed the lawsuit this week in Michigan, where the plaintiff lived in 2016, the television station reported.
According to the lawsuit, Charlie moved into his parents' home and stayed for 10 months, doing housework in lieu of paying rent, according to WXMI. He asked to leave the home in August 2017 after a domestic situation, according to court documents.
His parents allegedly visited him in November 2017 to drop off possessions, but Charlie's pornography collection was gone, WXMI reported.
Charlie’s parents said they threw out the collection, estimated at $28,940.72, according to court documents.
Charlie claimed many of the films stored in 12 boxes were valuable, out-of-print items, according to the lawsuit.
Charlie is now suing his parents for $86,822.16 in damages. WXMI reported.
