Deadly officer-involved shooting. Locust Grove police officer Chase Maddox, 26, was shot and killed and Henry County sheriff's deputies Michael D. Corley and Ralph Sidwell "Sid" Callaway were wounded while serving an arrest warrant to Tierre Guthrie on Friday at a home on St. Francis Court, authorities said. Guthrie was shot and killed. Friends and family remembered Maddox's quick smile and easy-going manner. In the wake of this tragic incident, Maddox leaves behind a pregnant wife. Those who knew Guthrie wonder how the life of that former Marine led to the deadly shooting.

Here's a look at the seven 5-star prospects that were a part of UGA's recruiting class, ranked No. 1 in the nation. 

National Signing Day and UGA. Between the players signed Wednesday and those signed during the Dec. 20-22 early signing period, University of Georgia head football coach Kirby Smart and his staff put together not only what's considered the best class in college football, but one of the best in the history of recruiting rankings. SB Nation called the class "basically a Death Star."

Investigators believe Nilsa Marie Urena is responsible for robbing several Georgia banks. She's been nicknamed the Freedom Fighter Bandit because she allegedly tells the tellers she needs the money for a social cause.

Freedom Fighter Bandit. A Tennessee grand jury this past week indicted the suspected bank robber who earned the nickname the Freedom Fighter Bandit because she told bank tellers she needed the cash for various social causes. Before Nilsa Marie Urena's arrest after a Tennessee heist, she was the suspect being sought for multiple bank robberies across metro Atlanta since Oct. 30, although federal charges for those crimes have not been filed.

The charges in Tennessee:  Georgia authorities have eye on suspect.
