The Henry County Parks & Recreation Department has earned a state award for its 2012 calendar. The department earned the Georgia Recreation and Park Association’s Publication Award for Multi-purpose for a Population of 180,001 and over. The calendar was a collaborative effort between Henry County Parks and Recreation and the Henry County Communications Department. It is the fifth straight year the county has been recognized with this honor. The state association is a non-profit institution.
