The Gwinnett County Police Department released a video Thursday to educate the public and young drivers on reasonable ways to interact with the police during traffic stops. The 3-and-a-half minute video is also designed to enlighten viewers on what Georgia Law requires of drivers when they are stopped by the police. Gwinnett Police believe it is paramount for citizens and police to remain as safe as possible during traffic stops.

Viewers of the video will see two scenarios. One shows a young woman stopped for speeding who responds by arguing with the officer. The second shows the same scenario handled more respectfully. Gwinnett County Police Department's method for increasing safety during traffic stops is to continuously train police and educate drivers on Georgia Law and department policy.
