Gwinnett County is asking for your help to name four new schools.

The district has a form on its website, www.gwinnett.k12.ga.us, where people can suggest a name and explain why they suggested that particular name. The deadline to submit a name is Sept. 9.

Two of the four new schools are elementaries; one is in Lawrenceville and the other in Norcross. The two other new schools are also in Lawrenceville. One will be a middle school and the other a high school. All four new schools are scheduled to open in August 2015.

Committees of parents and school officials will review the suggestions and make recommendations to Superintendent J. Alvin Wilbanks. He will make recommendations to the school board at its Sept. 18 meeting.
