Gwinnett County’s 77 elementary schools will welcome the district’s Class of 2026 on May 2, when it enrolls new kindergarten students. Parents and guardians of children who will be five years old by Sept. 1, 2013 should mark their calendars and gather documents needed for kindergarten registration and the start of the school year o Aug. 7. For details, parents and guardians should call their local school or visit the “Countdown for Kindergarten” section at www.gwinnett.k12.ga.us.
