Two armed robbers barged into a Sandy Springs package shipping business Thursday, assaulting employees and leaving them bound.

The thieves hit America’s Mail Center at 6595 Roswell Road around 5 p.m., said. Sgt. Ron Momon of the Sandy Springs Police Department.

Details were scant on what was taken —- whether it was cash or a package — but one employee was treated for a blow to the mouth after being “tied up and put in a bathroom” with another staffer, Momon said.

Police are currently investigating, he said.
