Two Decatur men were arrested after a stolen Georgia Department of Transportation truck crashed into a MARTA bus during a police chase Monday afternoon.

The GDOT truck and other items were stolen from Madison in Morgan County, GBI spokeswoman Nelly Miles told AJC.com. Agents tracked the stolen vehicle to DeKalb County, where a pursuit ensued.

The chase ended when the GDOT truck was driven into a MARTA bus, Miles said. MARTA police are investigating the incident as a hit-and-run. It’s unclear if anyone was injured in the crash. Atlanta police officers assisted GBI agents at the scene.

Two men were charged in the incident, the GBI confirmed Tuesday. Patrick Moore, 48, and Christopher Arline, 20, each face one count of theft by receiving stolen property. Moore faces an additional charge of third-degree forgery, online records show. Both are being held at the DeKalb County Jail without bond.
