Gainesville police investigating homicide at extended stay hotel

Jan 10, 2015Gainesville police are looking for leads in a homicide reported Saturday afternoon at an extended stay hotel.
Police were contacted around 2 p.m. after a hotel employee found the body in one of the rooms at Sun Suites hotel in the 1100 block of Jesse Jewell Parkway, Corporal Kevin Holbrook told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is assisting in the investigation.
Police were withholding information about the possible manner and cause of death, as well as, the victims’ gender so as not to hinder the investigation, Holbrook said.
