Four people were arrested in a Forsyth County drug bust Thursday during which authorities confiscated nearly $4,000 in drugs and $8,000 in cash.
Detectives from the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office found approximately 33 grams of methamphetamine, packaged for resale in 48 baggies in varying weights, according to a news release. The street value of the drug is approximately $100 per gram, Deputy Robin Regan said.
Amado Sandoval-Cortes, 34, was arrested on charges of trafficking meth and possession of meth with the intent to distribute.
Jose Quintana, 21, was arrested on charges of possession of meth with the intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia. He also has outstanding warrants in Pennsylvania, which he will answer at the conclusion of the Forsyth cases.
Cesar Rojo, 29, was arrested on a charge of possession of meth with the intent to distribute, and Haley Jenkins, 18, was arrested on a possession charge.
All four people were taken to the Forsyth County jail for booking. Jenkins posted an $11,110 bond, while the other three are being held without bond.
