Heather Valdez, 47, of Boca Raton, told police she was pulling out of the first-floor garage of a Target store in Deerfield Beach on Jan. 18 when she stopped to get some chocolates out of the car, the newspaper reported. When Valdez attempted to re-enter her car, she was confronted by the suspect, who threatened her with a knife, the Sun-Sentinel reported.
