Fireworks will cap off each day this holiday weekend at Georgia’s most-visited attraction.

Stone Mountain Park will incorporate a fireworks display into its evening Lasershow Spectacular all three nights of the Labor Day weekend. The lightshow is presented by the Georgia Office of Highway Safety and will begin at 9:30 p.m. each night.

“Stone Mountain Park honors and appreciates everyday working heroes during our Labor Day weekend Celebration,” the park’s website said. “Enjoy a day of adventure on our family-friendly attractions then stay into the evening for the Lasershow Spectacular followed by EPIC fireworks all three nights!”

The park, most well-known for its Confederate iconography and granite carving of Confederate leaders, is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. It features multiple attractions and exhibits, including Dinosaur Explore, Geyser Towers, Scenic Railroad and Summit Skyride.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the park draws squares on its Memorial Lawn for patrons to view the Lasershow and fireworks. It costs $20 per square, and each one holds up to four adults.

Attraction passes cost $29.95 for adults and $24.95 for children ages 3 to 11. Vehicle entry to the park is $20 for a one-day permit or $40 for an annual permit. Tickets are available at stonemountainpark.com.
