The University of Georgia’s student center reopened Monday after the building’s roof caught fire Friday night, officials said.
The blaze at the Tate Center was reported shortly after 9 p.m. and quickly contained. No one was reported injured.

University officials said the blaze caused limited damage to the building, but the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Shortly after 9 p.m. UGA Police received a call about a small fire on the roof of the Tate Center. Emergency personnel quickly contained the fire. It appears that the damage was limited and no one was injured. The cause of the incident is under investigation.

Offices, services and dining operations at the student center were opened Monday for normal operations, university officials said in a tweet. The business office window has temporarily relocated to the Tate Theatre box office.
