Emory sees silent quad after Gaza protests, dozens arrested

Sunday saw the quad at Emory University mostly silent and deserted after three days of protests against Israel’s war in Gaza. It was a stark aftermath from more than a dozen student arrests on Thursday alone.

Emory police intervened to disperse the crowd after graffiti appeared on at least one building in the quad on Saturday night.
