Atlanta-based Digital Insurance, which specializes in employee benefits and support services for small businesses and mid-sized companies, has acquired a Tennessee company that provides similar services.
Digital Insurance says its expertise will help Capital Benefits Group provide more services to its business customers. Capital Benefits will operate under the Digital Benefit Advisors banner. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Mike Sullivan, Digital Insurances’ executive vice president and chief marketing officer, said the addition of Capital Benefits, a 15-year-old company, will strengthen Digital Insurance’s presence across the Southeast.
“They have been helping employers effectively manage costs while providing more affordable, attractive benefits packages,” Sullivan said in a release. “Now Digital’s communications platform, customer solutions and health care reform expertise will elevate their deliverables.”
Harold Roe, president and CEO of Capital Benefits, said the new union will help his company expand across Tennessee.
Digital Insurance was recently acquired by Fidelity National Financial Inc. Atlanta-based FNF is a provider of title insurance, mortgage services and restaurant and other diversified services.
