The mother of a 2-year-old boy killed Saturday hopes someone will take responsibility for her son's death.

About 5 p.m. Saturday, Caleb Lindsay, 2, and his 4-year-old sister, Meyaria, were standing at the entrance of a Tucker Walmart with their mother waiting to cross the road when the two children were struck by a white truck.

On Wednesday, DeKalb County police spokeswoman Mekka Parish said there were no updates on the case, but Vashti Lindsay told Channel 2 Action News the person who hit her two children has to know something terrible happened.

"He saw me scream," the mother told Channel 2. "The window was all the way down."

Lindsay said there isn't a moment that goes by that she doesn't think of her baby boy.

"I miss my baby more than you can imagine," she said. "He ran over my children like they were rocks on the street."
