The cut gas line in a DeKalb neighborhood has been taken care of, according to Atlanta Gas Light spokeswoman Kristie Benson.

Ten homes in a DeKalb neighborhood and about 10 to 15 people were evacuated Thursday morning as a result of a cut 4 or 5 inch gas line, DeKalb fire and rescue told Channel 2 Action News.

The line was cut in the 1800 block of Hooper Street.
