Authorities have identified the decomposed body found Feb. 13 inside an abandoned Oconee County home as that of a 41-year-old man whose last known address was in Cumming.

Robby Oliver Barden’s relatives in Palm Bay, Fla., were notified Thursday, one week after his body was found in the home on U.S. 78, Oconee County Sheriff Scott Berry said.

While the cause of Barden’s death remains undetermined pending toxicology reports, Berry said foul play is not suspected.

Barden’s last known address was in the 8000 block of Lake Hollow Drive, Berry said.

“Time of death and other information still has not been received as of the time of this announcement,” he said.
